Congratulations for putting Scotland's interests first!

29/11/2005

Dear Sir,

Your readers may or may not be aware that an Independence Convention is being launched on St Andrews Day (tomorrow) at 7pm at the Dynamic Earth building. The meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

I've been a representative for Independence First, the campaign for a referendum on independence, on the interim forum for an Independence Convention and I have been impressed by the willingness of the Scottish parties to work together for independence.

These parties deserve sincere congratulations for putting Scotland's interests first and co-operating on this historic endeavour.

The Scottish people have never had the direct choice as to whether they wantto be in the British union or not, people vote in elections for many different reasons and independence support is spread amongst all political parties.

This launch will be a tremendous leap forward for the independence movement.

I'm sure most Scottish people are tired of being divided and ruled and theirrepresentatives are, at last, working together to ensure they won't be for much longer.

Yours faithfully,

Joe Middleton
