Song for the Labour Party
The working class will now be conned
To believe the union is still strong.
For the Scots they want their oil and gas
But we cannot give them what they ask.
The time has come to think again
If Brown's to stay in Number Ten.
But as we don't want Party schism
We won't have changes, just revision.
We can't forget Nye Bevan's ghost
But yuppies votes are uppermost.
We can't indulge in Leftist dreams
We must appeal to Milton Keynes.
The time has come to think again
If Brown's to stay in Number Ten.
But as we don't want Party schism
We won't have changes, just revision.
The people's flag is deepest grey
Because we get more votes that way.
Who gives a damn for socialism
If all looks good on television.
The time has come to think again
If Brown's to stay in Number Ten.
But as we don't want Party schism
We won't have changes, just revision.
(very good!)

LOL Joe - you obviously have far too much time on your hands now that you dont have to read The Hootsmon :-)
Actually I'm still reading it occasionally online (that's where I got this, I didn't write it) and monitoring it for instances of bias.
The only thing I've stopped doing is giving them any money and I won't be until they change their ways.
I know the historical reason's behind this question, but why do none of the Scottish press look at Scotland through 'Indepenence eyes'.
According to the Daily Mail support for Independence is now at 41%. If the press maintain their tenet of 'we only reflect the views of the proletariat, not make them' then that leaves 41% of the population with no reflection.
Free press - my arse!
